Highlands Winery began in 2001 with the vision of using ultra premium Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel to produce world class wines in the Bordeaux tradition. Using French oak barrels and hands on craftsmanship these wines were produced in small lots with careful attention to detail. The results are wines with intense flavors an elegant finish which drinks very well upon release and continues to improve for many years. Highland’s founders were pioneers in the Napa Valley wine business. This experience stands out in the structure and complexity of Highland’s wines.
